Hi, I’m Joey Yee, born and raised in San Francisco. I hold a BA in Cinema and Digital Media with a minor in Communications from UC Davis. During my time there, I cultivated my passion for visual storytelling by creating compelling visual content for social media. Through this experience, I gained a deep understanding of user engagement and how organizations can strengthen their brand to meet evolving audience needs.
I currently serve as the Digital Content Creator at PIQE (Parent Institute for Quality Education), where I lead the creation of short-form videos, graphics, and campaign content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and TikTok. I attend community events and school graduations to capture photo and video content, turning real parent stories and testimonials into engaging marketing materials. I also design digital graphics, flyers, and booklets, including the organization’s annual report, and help plan and execute multi-week social media campaigns that support family engagement, fundraising, and education initiatives.
I love turning real moments into content that helps people understand, connect with, and care about the work behind the scenes.
